Easy Road Trip Snacks
If you are planning a road trip with the family, including the kiddies, most likely you have snacks on the list. What snacks are easy and almost non-messy? This was always my complaint. Sure, kids will be kids and you can always clean up the messes, but snacks really don’t have to be that big of pain, do they?
Here is a great list of “road trip” snacks. Keep in mind many of these are obviously no-brainers, but when packing for a trip, it’s so easy to overlook.
Fruit: Bananas, apples, grapes, raspberries, and oranges
Veggies: Carrot sticks, broccoli, cauliflower bites, and cucumbers
Nuts (If no nut allergies in the home): Walnuts, peanuts, cashews, and almonds
Dry Foods: Trail mixes, cereal, and granola bars
If you are packing a cooler snacks like string cheese, etc., is mess-free
What about drinks? I say stick with water bottles. It’s healthy and no worries of staining.
As you can see, you will want to stay away from snacks that are sticky and messy like fruit snacks, fruit roll-ups, cheese popcorn, Cheetos, etc.
