We at Bosak Honda Highland couldn’t be more excited to introduce the new sporty and safe 2016 Honda Accord to our Honda inventory. Whether you’re looking for a sedan or a coupe, 2016’s Accord packs together safety, high performance, and some of the most innovative technological features available. Below, we’ll go into some of the 2016 Honda Accord specifics.

What We Know About the 2016 Honda Accord

Both the 2016 Honda Accord Sedan and Coupe versions come with either a directly injected 2.4L inline 4-cylinder engine or a 3.5L V6. The latter is the most powerful engine ever seen on the Accord, or any Honda sedan, for that matter. On the Sedan, you’ll find a sharper aluminum hood instead of the previous steel hoods, while the front grille will stand out more than ever. The Coupe has a sportier, more aggressive redesign as well.

There are more new exterior features, like 19-inch wheels on the Sport and Touring Sedan trims. The Coupe EX and EX-L trims have 18-inch wheels, and the Coupe Touring, the first time the trim has been available for the Coupe model, will also sport those 19-inch wheels. All models will boast LED taillights; Sport and higher trims will feature LED daytime running lights.

With improved rigidity and a more responsive electric power steering system than ever before, the 2016 Honda Accord will surely be one of Honda’s smoothest-driving vehicles. Straight Driving Assist technology helps you navigate curved roads, while the Honda Sensing safety technology suite includes some of the most cutting-edge safety tech on the market. This suite includes Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and more—all working to maximize your safety using technology that monitors exterior conditions. All trims have Honda Sensing as an option, but it will come standard on the Touring.

The EX and higher trims will feature a 7-inch touchscreen called the Display Audio Interface. HondaLink Assist and HD Radio, both part of the Interface, will enhance your connectivity. Through the Interface, you can use smartphone GPS navigation, stream audio, send voice-based text messages, and more. Your 7.7-inch upper touchscreen will show you Lanewatch info, audio settings, directions, trip info, and more.
